July 24-25
After four weeks of traveling, it was nice to come back to the Magnolia State! I was thrilled to arrive in Jackson on Friday afternoon just in time to head to the Neshoba County Fair PRCA Rodeo. It was a very hot and humid in Philadelphia, but a fantastic weekend for a rodeo and the fair.
Friday and Saturday nights’ crowds were fantastic. I enjoyed seeing families set up their lawn chairs around the arena fence hours before the rodeo started—and, during the rodeo, all of the bleachers and lawn chairs were full—standing room only! Along with a great crowd, the rodeo was fun and exciting to watch and the “fair food” was unbelievably good.
Thank you to Neshoba County Fair for inviting me and to PRCA Pickup Man Tommy Petit for providing me with a horse to ride each night. I also appreciate the generosity of the Sprabery family for hosting me over the weekend. If you missed this year’s Neshoba County Fair and PRCA rodeo—don’t miss heading to Philadelphia next July for the rodeo and fair!
